Hmm.
I didn't enjoy that very much, y'knerr, from the perspective of an album being entertaining in a pleasant and undemanding way.
That said, it should restated that it was from 1988 and was, thus, at least 2 years ahead of its time.
Also, it still remains extremely rare for experimental bands of this 'sort' to have actual black people in.
So, in summary, not a huge amount of fun to listen to and (in the grand scheme of things, both before or since) not all that groundbreaking or pioneering.
Still, I sense that it was a work driven by a singular vision and realised exactly as the band wished.
