I slept excellently last night, over 9 hours.

10 hours last night, tired out after all my car-related travails.

Re: The sleep (and lack of sleep) thread
I had a loverly night of sleep last night, and I put it all down to wonderful booze.

It's odd how both booze, and no booze, can both lead to sleep.
Myself I had a certain quantity of booze last night, and slept 7½ hours, which isn't bad.

I've had no booze since Friday, and 2 nights of quality sleep. I am as usual in this situation fizzing with energy and attitude.

Sounds good. Quality sleep and fizzing energy - your body is trying to tell you something. It likes the post-Friday you.

Re: The sleep (and lack of sleep) thread
I currently feel very very sleepy, even though it's only just gone 5 o'clock.

And, now that it's late, I don't feel tired at all.

I'm in that happy state again now, except since Saturday rather than Friday.

I love it when that happens.
When you wake up you feel younger. The absence of any real complaint on waking - not still tired, not in pain from having slept badly, not dreading the day - is the hallmark of youth, I think.
