He's more of a meat support for 'The Nose',

It's the only song by them that I really like.

....which came a couple of years AFTER the Bucks Fizz song.

I'm always amazed that wasn't a bigger hit than it was - number 8 or something, and climbed quite slowly. Yet in the US and elsewhere it reached number one.

More of a B-side or album track than a single. Not one of their best.

It's a funny song. It's all rather unmemorable other than the synthesized vocally bit at the beginning and occasionally throughout.

Who'd have thought he'd have still been having hits in 1986. Although he did re-release "Cars (E-reg model)" in 1987.

Me neither.

Quite possibly the only ever number one performance on TOTP that no one has ever heard of.

Incidentally, Wham also performed the Last Christmas B-side, Everything She Wants, on TOTP just after Christmas.

It was horrendous. I actually think that episode was one of the worst I've seen so far in my favourite TOTP era (late 1983 onwards). And yet only a few weeks ago I thought an episode was one of the best!

But on the contrary. I thought it was the coolest thing ever
