That would have been month 7 if Nostradamus seen March 1st as New Year's Day, in antique Roman style.
But New Year's Day in France, before 1564, was March 25th, so Sep 13 would have been in month 6. And the Centuries were written in France in the 1550s.
In any case, Nostradamus used Jan 1 as New Year's Day (according to the authors cited in the Wikipaedia entry).
