Interesting, because peak Wendifield temperature on Saturday was 13 C, and my model would have predicted increased usage.
What time of day do these 24-hour periods you're logging start?

I have now fitted door sealing tape to the door of my experimental heating room.

Re: The heating thread
I have found a 100 watt bulb in the bottom of a cardboard box in a cupboard. I have now got it in my Experimental Heat Room and have it on and the heating off, to see how much heat it gives off.

I'm sat five feet away from it and I can feel its rays hitting my skin.

I have placed one of my patented foil and corrugated cardboard panels directly behind it to prevent its heat escaping into the wall behind it.

After I found it, I remembered I have an old 60 watt bulb in the out-house. I was going to bring that in and have that running in conjunction with this one, to see how they felt combined but, when I tested it, it had failed and its filament was making that "sheeeshy" noise that they do when they've burnt out.

Once this one fails, my life will forevermore be denied the joys of incandescent rage lighting.

In other news, I used exactly 1 unit of gas yesterday, nearly double what I've been using in recent days. I have no idea what caused the massive increase.

After over an hour since I started, the room is still perfectly warm.

Re: The heating thread
The room heat calculator I tried yesterday said I'd need nearly 900 watts to heat this room. I am currently managing to heat it perfectly well with a 100 watt light bulb.
