here. Also a flat calm all day - steam from Glasgow's various industrial chimneys going straight up. 'Smoke rises vertically' is the Beaufort description for Force 0, and the same goes for steam.

It's quite cold out where I live, though it's going to warm up a little bit. It's 29 degrees F (-1 C) but tomorrow the high is 58 F (14 C). I wish it would stay in the cooler temps though.

When I went out at 8.45am, the sun was still only illuminating the tops of things. And it was flipping cold. I could feel the cold striking up from the ground through the soles of my chelsea boots.
