The big supermarkets and micro-superettes are all open today, but I think with early closing times.

Aldi's open till 8pm, I know that for true.

Well, not for £25 worth of snap for 10% off.

Not £25 at Iceland anyway.

If only it had been.

The cucumber spread is much nicer than the standard sarnie spread imo.

My delivery was missing the jar of olives I ordered. But on the other hand, they brought the correct grade of organic UHT milk (skimmed) - last time they brought semi-skimmed instead, and they didn't even note it as a substitution.

They tend to subsitute stuff, there used to be a no-subsitues tick box, but that seemed to have been gone missing from the last time I booked from Waitrose aristojar

I always tick 'no substitutes'. ('Always' here meaning both times). So that's fine with the olives, but doesn't explain why they brought me semi-skimmed instead of skimmed the other time.

Now to see what's on the telly right now.

It's the first day of the football season, so probably nothing but wall-to-wall football.
