Sing or sling in the bin?
Re: Edgar Broughton Band – Sing Brother Sing (1970)
Ahh, he actually seems harmless.
I'm sure he's harmless.

It is over.
It was daft bobbins.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.![Excited](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/4075307247.gif)

Re: Edgar Broughton Band – Sing Brother Sing (1970)
I am disappointed that those three boys on the album cover aren't the band members.

At any point in their lives.
If it were, and they recorded this album when they were about 7 years old, then I'd be much more impressed.

Re: Edgar Broughton Band – Sing Brother Sing (1970)
Anyway, it was (for the first 2/3s at least) a much more interesting album then we've done in a while, but, after a while, it seemed just a case of hearing a band play music they thought most people hadn't heard (Captain Beefheart, basically) and were going to try and get away with things for as long as they could.
Shame really.
I had the impression that there was more talent and promise in there, somewhere.
I guess we'll just have to do all of their albums in sequence to find out.
EBB could be Princess_BellybuttonZ'z version of Wendi's Macca - a wall-to-wall discographical tyranny.![yes](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/959869116.gif)

Re: Edgar Broughton Band – Sing Brother Sing (1970)
I'm good thanks.
One of the points of this is to expose us old, past it, jaded minds to new stuff so we can go further on our own.
it's different for Paul 'thumbs aloft' McCartney for some reason.![shifty](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/3904149952.gif)
