It is over.
It was an album that failed to thrill in its first and final thirds but came to life once she started doing covers of actual good songs.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

I've just realised that I've been listening to this whilst a documentary on C5 about a miniature train being refurbished has been on on mute.

Boring ending to a..... okay album. It had all the pleasant songs and Randy Crawford's nice vocals, but it all felt so 2d, lacking any depth or anything really exciting going on. I prefer her later songs which have the much-needed (in my opinion) solid 80s production boost. It also seemed somewhat like an album of covers, as if from the Ian McShane collection.
