Worst track on the album so far. Just get on with it.

How does this express the essence of anybody's life exactly?

I bet the live versions of this went on for 45 minutes.

Turned to generic rock right at the end.

It is over.
With its forgettable songs, ham-fisted banging and crashing and its gratuitous bass noodlings, it was highly alienating.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Unless you were a virtuoso fusion bassist and Scientologist that is.

And it was 1985.

Re: The Stanley Clarke Band – Find Out! (1985)
That was as I hoped judging by the front cover. I have to admit I still don't know who any of these people are but it was an enjoyable listen with many stereotypical thrilling mid 80s moments. The first few songs were likeable, if a bit bland and generic, but the latter songs became a bit more epic - instrumentals included - other than the last one which I didn't like.

It was a bit better than I feared.
Occasionally it even toyed with the off-the-wall concept of being entertaining.
That is my review.

Let's just remind ourselves what his older stuff sounds like;

Massive typo fail.
Somebody took the 'L'.
