This might be the best song on the album so far.

Re: Hello - Keeps Us off the Streets (1976).
It is over.
It came close to working but lacked a certain vivacity and felt like a group jumping on a bandwagon just after its wheels had dropped off.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

It was OK that.
Fell off into plodding cover-version mediocrity half way through, but rallied towards the end.
Hard to dislike.
Easy-ish to like.
Impossible to h8.

I quite liked it. But gawd help the Glam Rockers who thought they were going to make it '76.

Re: Hello - Keeps Us off the Streets (1976).
Not the most thrilling of albums, but it was tolerable. Anything glam lacked the campness and tongue-in-cheekness of true glam rock so it felt a bit flat and stale for the most part. That last track was alright. All in all, a bit better than last night's Rolling Stones.

Feeling generous.
Old rubbish that didn't know what it wanted to be like this deserved some slack cut.
