Re: The hot water bottle thread
I went into a small number of cheap shops, earlier today, to see if any of them had any hot water bottles but none of them did.

I have discovered that such things are surprisingly difficult to find.

I have a hot water bottle that is made by a German company called Fashy.
I find the name slightly disturbing.
There's also a brand of hot water bottles called Cassandra.

I saw a row of them in Asda the other day, some with fluffy covers.

Yes, I've tipped the water out 24 hours later and the water is still lukewarm.

Re: The hot water bottle thread
Cassandra warned everybody that Atlantis was going to be destroyed, and no one believed her.
And then it was destroyed.
But it was OK because she'd put her only son in a spaceship and sent him to Earth and, when he got there, he had super-powers and a cape.

That was.... rather tenuous to say the least. I'm not going to blame myself for not getting it.

I'm not familiar with this Atlantis version.
HWBs are also available from The Original Factory Outlet (actually a chain, what a swizz) and The Range, which also does little half size ones ideal for defrosting car door keyholes and keeping one's extremities warm.

A Cassandra is the provider of an early warning voice who is never believed. This was one of Nightjars less obscure contributions.
