It’s so cold. It feels like March.

Lot of showers here, with huge clouds, and sun in between the showers.

I’ve had my electric blanket on at night.

Feels quite warm here.

It’s been like living in the USSR. Cold, mean, hungry, decaying. I’m suffering away with an electric blanket at night, and a pair of fluffy slippers I invested in at all other times. It’s not topped 20c for days, and isn’t predicted to for the next six or seven - I did spy one or two promises of 19c coming up. However, my ‘new this year’ bearded irises have come on a treat, so that’s cheering.

I've had to have a hot water bottle the last 3 nights, cos I only brought my thin summer pyjamas on this trip.
