Forum tidying/thread merging etc.

Thought it was about time we had a specific thread rather than using the "refugees" thread to request any forum tidying and thread mergings that may be needed.

We appear to have two separate historic threads about public art and statues on the go, that appear to do exactly the same thing:

May I suggest that they could possibly be combined, though both threads kept for different purposes? The one thread with "statues" in the title could be kept for statues only, and the other more so about paintings and such, with posts distributed accordingly?
