As I said in the other thread, I once bought one from Poundland but I couldn't get it to work.
And it cost me a pound.

I have, at some points in my life, possessed a bicycle pump which I assume could be used for the purpose.
And, when I was little, we possessed a hand pump for blowing up our paddling pool.
My dad also possessed a pump for blowing up car tyres. Whether such a magnificent contraption could be used for inflating balloons, I do not know.

I had a plastic pump thingy when I was little. Blue it was.
Wonder if you could use the thing I've got to inflate car types to inflate balloons?

I'm sure I remember seeing one as a child at a school or church Christmas party or something, but most people just blew up balloons manually.
I could never tie up the end of a balloon, and I don't think I've even tried as an adult.

It's not as easy as it might be.

I have removed the narrow bendy tube that's meant to links the pump to the tyre, and am about to try attaching the neck of the balloon directly to the body of the pump.

I have come to the conclusion that a bicycle pump is useless for blowing up balloons.

Also, a rubber washer has fallen out of the pump and I'm not sure where it's supposed to go.

Yes it’s arrived. Easy to use, although it’s manual so it’s a full work out doing hundreds of them. I’m about a third of the way through. It looks like the end of the Democrat National Convention in here, if they used pink and peach colours.
