One of the most overrated garments in musical history.

Yes, I always thought Spinning Around was overrated - both the song and the video. Can't Get You Out of My Head was a much better "comeback" song and video.

Number 2, I remember at the time there was a number one in the hit parade with 86 *F* B*mbs in it, and no one cared. No monocles popped, No Mary Whitehousing, nothing.
And I knew the world had changed.
Don't remember the song.

Re: 2000s "nostalgia"
Actual nostalgia for me from the early 2000s/late 90s! I remember watching Club@Vision (said "Clubber Vision") on ITV late on a Friday night/Saturday morning whilst lying in bed. As a late teen who liked dance music but wasn't exactly the clubbing type it was quite an eye opener for me. It featured different nightclubs from around the UK each week - some of the more famous ones like Cream and God's Kitchen, but they'd also visit clubs in random towns like Yarm(?) and Coalville in Leicestershire.
Cue lots of gr8 dancing, loud blokey blokes and ladettes aplenty.

Oh dear, Tall Trees Nightclub in Yarm burnt down and is now a housing estate.

It seems the presenter, Lisa Nash, is now a fitness expert.

It really was a vey vey camp decade wasn't it. Up there with the best of them. Maybe more camp than the 1990s or 1980s ?
