Re: The Easter Egg thread!
I might buy myself a token creme egg. But I probably won't bother. I don't like chocolate really.

Re: The Easter Egg thread!
I had a medium-sized Easter egg about a month ago - it was a Cadbury's Creme Egg one.

Re: The Easter Egg thread!
When I went into the library at lunchtime I saw a notice saying that their Easter Egg Hunt was still in progress. Anyone finding one of the plastic eggs in the library could take it to the desk to exchange for a chocolate one.
On my way out I spotted an unfamiliar flash of pink behind one of the statues in the foyer. I went over for a look and there was a plastic egg concealed there! I seized it and dduly collected my edible egg, which was a caramel one, very nice.

Did the raiding of Asda of its reduced Easter Eggs on Monday - the largeish Cadbury's ones were reduced from £4 to £2 - bought two, Wispa and Crunchie ones - and the packets of Creme Egg wrapped sweets things were reduced from £1 to 75p - bought 3 bags.

Re: The Easter Egg thread!
There were no reduced Easter treats at my local shops yesterday.

I'm going to the shops on Tuesday. I'm assuming there'll be plenty of unsold Easter Eggs and I'll be able to get one cut-price.

Maybe it'll be one that has chocolate buttons inside it.

Even though it doesn't make sense to put chocolates inside an Easter egg. Surely, it would make more sense to put something that contrasts with the chocolateyness of the egg?

Cheap Easter eggs will be luring people out of their houses and to their doom.
I'm lucky in that I'd already had two Cadbury's Easter eggs before all of this started.

Re: The Easter Egg thread!
I can't eat anything till 10.45 because I drank a lot last night, and it won't have worn off properly till then.
I don't buy Easter eggs anyway.

Come to think of it, I didn't see any when I was on at the shops. Or any proper Easter eggs, either.

I'm quite pleased with myself that the days of drinking so much that I can't have breakfast till 10.45 are apparently behind me.
That storage unit has probably saved my life.
