Forgot to say, some nutter keen radio enthusiast has uploaded some classic Terry Wogan morning radio shows up to you tubes

Just as boring as I remember it was at the time!

Old School music selection though, no Du Lipa feat. Ann Marie style bops in 93!

Still not put the pointer on the right place on the dial on that one either.

I listed to a episode of 'I'm sorry I haven't a clue' from 1981, it's much better now they script it rather than ab libbing and giggling at their own jokes.

That's the third time in the last week that I've been reminded of Willie Rushton, who I hadn't thought about in probably at least 15 years.

Willie Rushton was always my favourite out of the classic lineup.

Tim Brooke-Taylor wasn't always on it though, quite often he'd be replaced by someone else. Kenny Everett took his place once.

When Radio 1 started, he presented Late Night Extra (10pm to midnight) for two years, flying over from Dublin every week. This show was simultaneously broadcast on Radio 2.

In 1969, Terry took over his own weekday afternoon show aired on both Radio 1 and 2. In April 1972 he took over the 7.00 - 9.30am morning show solely on Radio 2.
