Spots Empty Spots

Now me, I've been very lucky in my life*.

Never had spots when I was a kid and never have them now.

Well, very very rarely.

Just one on occasion, usually as a result of being run down/eating lots of junk food etc.

I now however have a spot.

It's on the very tip of my nose.  budgie terror

Anyway, here's where can share all out pustular anecdotes and sebum stories.

No cysts.


*not in all respects. sad yes

I very occasionally get spots. The doctor prescribed me something very effective which sort of burns them off. You have to put it on very carefully though, I use the tip of a matchstick.

Benzoyl peroxide, trade name 'Acnecide'.

My number 1 search result for Aldara just now was 'Order G*nital Wart Treatment'.

By a massive coincidence I have just been applying that benzoyl peroxide stuff I mentioned above, to a spot on my face.

You should get that looked at Nightie.

Actually the NHS are worried that people aren't seeking attention for non-corona illnesses, and they encourage them to do so.

Yes, you should definitely have it seen to. The sooner it's dealt with - if it is a melanoma - the easier it'll be to get rid of. Catch it early enough and it's no big deal at all to sort out. yes

My nan had a couple of melanomas removed when she was in her 80s and she was out and about within days.

You might get Aldara. Pop along to your GP and join the Aldara club. It's an experience you'll never forget.

The HPV vaccine is one I paid for my son to be given, due to it only being publicly funded for girls.
