Re: Breaking learning thread
There's a track on Bonnie Tyler's 1983 album Faster Than the Speed of Night where the words "I'd do anything for love, but I won't do that" are said, 10 years before the Meat Loaf song of the same name came about.
I think Jim Steinman might just be the connection.

Games Workshop shops are now going under the 'Warhammer' name.

Re: Breaking learning thread
I remember that Games Workshop shop so so so so very well.
I certainly never queued up outside it though.
I was always on the guest list.
I'm pretty sure I knew that GW was Warhammer though.
In fact, I can remember when WH started to dominate everything in the shop.
They had a glass display case with all 'cool' painted figures and 'fashionable' dioramas and it was all 'de rigueur' D&D or CoC or Runequest stuff, but then after a while it was just loads of rubbish WH stuff.

Also, GW started doing their own CoC stuff under license from Chaosium.

This adventure is going to be tricky to fit into your campaign. It's set in Britain in 1983-1984, and it contains a lot of references to things (like the Falkands war) which may be hard to update. In addition, developments like the internet, cellular phones, and Windows may really change the way some of the investigation is played out in this scenario.
