Andrew W.K. or Andrew W**k?
Re: Andrew W.K. - I Get W*t
I'd love to heard a better sound quality version of this.
Well, like, I dunno about love.

What's happening? According to Wikipedia, it's all over.
But it's still going.

I'm not sure this is the sort of album that needed bonus tracks.

Re: Andrew W.K. - I Get W*t
In the early '80s I went on a ferris wheel with my Mum at a dodgy fairground that set up overnight on St. Mark's Road right be the Westway.
Everything about it was terrifying - creaky, rusty, went round not in a gentle sightseeing meander, but like blue b*ggery.
We were both very scared, but my Mum, in her role of adult, parent and calm influence, tried to calm me - despite her own anxiety - with these comforting words...
"Don't worry, it'll be over soon".

It seems to be a track called Violent Life.
This is definitely filler. It doesn't even have an words.

It is over.
That was by far the best album we've done that I didn't pick. It had the kind of vitality and mindlessness I can appreciate.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.

I'm guessing this is the Japanese version and it's 宴を求めて三千里
Shazam didn't know.

That was alright. Much better than the Green All Time Low 182s of this world. Not for me, as it's harmless pop-punk I'm too old and past it, but I'd be secretly happy if I found my kids listening to it.

Id like to say something like "wow, that was a bit much", but I've listened to his last two elpees and they're just the bl*nking same.

So far the best song I've heard him do - and actually a song I like and find inspiring -

Er...
It's this...
I guess it's because it sounds like late '70s Dennis Wilson.
But not just that - if you're a BB fanatic - you can understand it as a Dennis and Brian - voices destroyed by cocaine - rocker.
The thing that I find frustrating about a song like this is that I think AWK could carry the soulful, rock overload baton into a new era.
Basically, this song is an absolutely authentic pastiche of the strange sub-genre of soulful rock Dennis Wilson was creating before he died.
