The forum in which all human experience resides. Especially for fans of the now-deceased original Hall of the Wendigo. Still Number One with the core demographic.

I liked it.
It was real now!

It is over.
To be honest, I have no desire to ever hear it again, it was too all-over the place for my tidy little mind to accept but, they seem to have influenced a lot of people so I can respect them for that.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.

Weirdly, I felt the opposite, that it was strangely consistent - a largely unremarkable set of songs/compositions, but with a relative sense of cohesion and collective musical identity.
It wasn't a really great record, but I feel happy to let it exist in its own historical, cultural space as a coalescence of genres and ideas and technology and fashions...
I do not begrudge it.

I've given it ★★★, but feel that, in truth, it deserves and extra 1/2 a ★ as it was a confident and quaintly dated slice of '70s-ness, which I could never, ever say was a bad thing.

I don't know how to make smileys move left or right across the screen.
Press "Post Reply".
Above the box you type in is a toolbar. On the right-hand side of it is a white square with three dots on it, arranged horizontally. Press it.
From the options that then appear, choose the appropriate arrow symbol and post the smiley in question between the scroll tags that appear.

Oh, I saw that but didn't know that it'd've opened up another whole wormhole of options.

One of the members of Curved Air played organ on Kate Bush's 2nd album.
Francis Monkman?
Francis Monkman also did the soundtrack to The Long Good Friday and ergo helped to make one of the greatest endings to a film ever.
It's a great tune in its own right, but in concert with final scene and subsequent credits it's absolute dymanite!
If you haven't seen it and don't want the end of that venerable film ruined don't watch this version (very young Pierce Brosnan appearance alert! )...
Watch/listen to this instead...
