Hopefully see him and the other absentees* over at the ten most significant albums of your life thread.

*Absence is a word I always have to read back to make sure it's not wrong. It looks like a mistake. We once had a work experience kid whose mother emailed to say her daughter would be off for the day due to her having been 'crippled all of last night by waves of nostalgia'.

Possibly my favourite ever email. I replied 'I understand that entirely, hope to see her when she's recovered', before printing it off/forwarding it far and wide.

I have finally voted after listening to this album for the fist time in a while. I'd never loved it as an album, I guess mainly because I had all the needed songs on her greatest hits which I used to listen to all the time, plus the fact that some of the album tracks sound like Bon Jovi and Michael Bolton B-sides - which in theory they really are.

There are a couple of generic Jovi/Bolton tracks but the rest really are superb - the fact that Just like Jesse James, my favourite Cher song, is on there probably helps.
