Clive James in Bombay. BBC4. I remember discussing this with my grandfather on the telephone. February 1995 is the broadcast date the television gives. Now and again I think he's waving hello from wherever he is.

I absolutely love those two Bristolian old ladies on Gogglebox. I hope they keep themselves well during the current crisis. Too cute - it's life enhancing to see a little insight into their dear friendship on screen.
They're watching Sheridan Smith Going Home. You can never go home, it's a state of mind. Going back to where you thought it was is destined to disappoint because it won't be the same. One of life's toughest jokes.
That family from Brighton are sitting in dads chair while he's out. I think that's not on. The one who pays the bills gets the choicest chair. Ménage a trois on now - we had neighbours that lived that way. Big home brewers they were.

Friday Night Dinner on next - what a treat. My family think I'm a combination of Jackie and Mercedes Woman. I'm really looking forward to the new series. Tom Rosenthal is another of my great crushes - they're all first among equals/silver medalists after Timothee Chalamet in gold place. A friend of mine is among the cast so Tom does know, and I confirmed it in person.
Wayne Rooney and a couple of others are in the bronze (wouldn't be seen in the street with) category.

At first, I assumed it was a horror film but then I realised that's not very likely at this time of day.
Now I feel let down.

I watched ep 1 of Survivors last thing last night, it made me feel very apprehensive, and I had nightmares about it all night.

Still, it's a great comfort to hear that the White House has tried to commission an exclusive vaccine for Americans. What kind of psychopathic mindset could've tried to advance that concept. Shocking stuff. No doubt many at Wetherspoons will be supportive of such an effort, until it's them.
I see Piers Morgan, a fellow parent, is as relieved as I am that the school has been closed on the advice of France over the heads of the British inaction.
