And I don't have underlings. I have respected colleagues who perform essential roles as part of a trusted team of equals, where professional knowledge and a diversity of life experiences are blended to enhance outcomes on behalf of client accounts we believe in.
Please don't try twist a point against me regarding my professional integrity, or question the commitment my colleagues and I have to best ethical practice. It's not something I would consider doing to you.

I think I'll get a couple of these sent over from a Chinese market. They'll look great together on one wrist with the sleeves of a white shirt rolled up, teamed with my very largest Croydon hoop earrings.

I hope you didn't think I was raining on Bristol's parade or casually dismissing your own joy. I too thought the toppling was an organic and marvellous thing. Now it's gone, I'm not in favour of it being dredged up for restoration or placement in a museum. The ruined plinth paints a far more complete and vivid picture of urban response than either of those alternatives.
It might be appropriate and timely for the local police chief to get up on the remnant to announce that no prosecutions will be pursued against those who exercised active citizenship within their own city.

That made me think of
but it wasn't that. I wonder which 1985 car advert I'm thinking of?

This is really annoying me now.

I've been looking for it in all my audio captures.
I haven't found it.
But I have found a complete off-air of Steven 'Tin Tin' Duffy's Kiss Me. In glorious AM digital clock radio quality.

And another of Material Girl. Why did I tape that? I never liked Madonna.

I've turned up various hits in US Mazda car adverts, and that does ring a bell. Which Mazda marque/model would have been promoted on TV in Britain in early 1985?

I meant to say the other day - as I waited to cross the road, a light bronze coloured D reg Vauxhall Cavalier pulled up beside me. I don't know how it passed its recent MOT's - being next to it was like very deeply inhaling the air at a busy petrol station.

The first Berlin club I ever went to was billed as an 'anarchist/communist lesbian peace collective'. So began my love of Berlin nightlife in all its many guises.

Today, I think my Covid-19 related short hair might just be a phase. I remain a convert, just perhaps not a lifelong one.
I could really relish my 70's with this hair and makeup look...
I actually think I could pull that off pretty closely, if the intervening 35/40 years go reasonably well.
