The theme tune to Clint Eastwood's Pale Rider movie is the same as the theme tune for Channel 4 News. gasp

A discussion somewhere on SSC suggested that the word "marmalise", a word I'm certainly familiar with and have used myself, is local to Liverpool and was made popular by Ken Dodd in the 60s.

To destroy something or somebody: "I'm going to marmalise him" - ie kill/hurt them - in a sort of joking way I might add. I remember it being said a lot (by me and others) during my computer games-playing years in the 90s.

Isn't she in that really creepy Hammer House of Horror episode where a guy works in a mortuary and gets obsessed with numbers (or something)?

There's something wrong-un-y about that woman.
