I have just returned from a meeting in a deprived area. I went via the local high street, where I got a pink pleather bomber jacket with diamanté buttons, a pair of gold lamé leggings, and a date with a 20 year old phone unlocker called Elias.

Man in pub selling Schiaparelli buttons. I didn’t ask where he’d got them, but I spent £40 on enough to fit on two jackets. I am thrilled.

There’s a squint heart with onyx centre, there’s a moon eclipsing a sun, there’s a starfish with a pearl hanging from it, there’s a severed hand with little gems trailing from tiny nail piercings, there’s a theatre face mask, and various others all in gold. A nose with emerald based mucous running from it. I feel as if I’ve got the bargain of the year here.
