I do miss my wedding and engagement rings. I was just looking at engagement rings for men when I came across this. My set was a bit like this - but the main diamond was square and raised much higher - I'd say almost an inch higher, and the eternity band glittered more because the encrusted diamonds were individually tiny...
It used to wear mine off to the side like that, to ever so casually emphasize the heaviness and size of it. It really came into its own in sunlight. Seems like a lifetime ago, rather than not yet twenty years. Before everything hurt and I could go all day having been up all night - a lifetime ago.
He's not really a jewellery sort of guy, and the men's ones I've seen online don't look great, but I'd like to get him a 'not right now but to work towards it if you still want to' ring.

Some great looks for the summer, with my new short hair rather than all these people with their unruly manes and rat ends I think I'll carry these better. With the addition of a necessary pair of white briefs in one case, and some borrowing of my sons many varied wrist bracelet things, I'm confident that the summer of 2020 is not yet a total loss.

F*cking Lourdes. I had an outfit just like it when she was in nappies - same jeans, genuinely accidental tear in the same place (Zakee Shariff). Looked great with a mans chocolate brown V neck cashmere sweater (Scotch House) and an old vest with one strap and the bra showing (M&S probably).
My grandfather painted my white Converse with white emulsion because he was so horrified by how dirty they were - not fit to be worn in public. Once they'd been drawn on, dredged through a fountain or two, signed, red laces, etc, they looked better than ever - especially with the above ensemble.
Young people today are so derivative.
