My friend talked me out of buying this at Harvey Nichols last year, but I wish I'd just got it. We were quite drunk after a largely liquid lunch, so I thought I'd err on the side of caution and listen to him...

As it looks like it's going to be late autumn/winter before we can find somewhere that hasn't closed down to have a first night out...

Ooh those are nice, particularly the first one. That would look great on me.

I think the first is also my favourite.

That'll all go together quite nicely. Hopefully late summer will see restrictions ease. The gold digger I found on YouTube yesterday said that women wearing watches was completely unacceptable - apparently it signifies a woman who has to work, and who thinks her time is more important than her man. I've never loooked at my watches so fondly.

I like the black one but I wouldn't dare wear it. The oatmeal one in the first post is a nice shape, but I'm not sure about that collar.
The grey one in the selfies is the one I'd actually wear.

I love the collar, it's what drew me to the jacket. The grey jacket is very nice, especially with that top under it, and the blue jeans. I think the black button down dress is quite conservative?

I'd be afraid it might come open at an inopportune moment.

Some marvellous facemask choices here...
https://www.lamag.com/lalifeandstyle/face-masks-local-brands/
The Don Kaka tapestry ones and the Scalamandre print selection appeal. Matrushka isn't my style at all but will do as a present for a friend who dresses like a cartoon character anyway. I'll also get a Bijan full face visor. I'm glad American Apparel is back in a new guise, I always found their casual wear to be striking enough to wear with blazers, stilettos, and sunglasses, yet comfortable enough to feel like pyjamas.
On the sunglasses front, I haven't yet found a way to stop mine from steaming up, so I have to go out and about without. I wonder if anyone is doing black full face visors to solve this problem?

Re: Thobes etc.
The sunglasses thing is no small problem for me - I have eye 'floaters'/retina scarring that are unbearable in strong sunlight, and barely much better in cloudy daylight. Very black sunglasses keep associated headaches and eye pain at bay, while also virtually cancelling out the visual effects.
I've been everywhere and tested for everything, and it's a cross I have to bear. I've been told by too many reputable experts that any of the cures touted are pretty much worthless.
One did ask if I had any Eskimo heritage. Apparently they are afflicted in especially great proportions. Perhaps something to do with the 24/7 light they have for half the year.

Re: Thobes etc.
If I work up a bit more of a tan, I think this 'ten card lotería' themed one will look great with a Prince of Wales light grey check blazer, and potentially my red baseball cap.
Oh, Scalamandre Jardin de Chine in a jade shade is very nice. My eyes are green, and considering I can't wear sunglasses I might as well have a mask that matches...

I think the 'Tigre' one might be a bit Bet Lynch, but I do like it. All black clothes and gold earrings would allow it to shine without overwhelming...

Now that the hair has been self hacked, once it can be tidied up and colourists are safely plying their trade once more, I'll be going Vanity Fair...
I've really enjoyed the feeling of lightness that has happened. Something I didn't realise I'd been missing.
