Anyway, the story behind this album. Every time she submitted a demo to her record company, of the records she wanted to make, they rejected them. So she made this album to try and give them the kind of album they did want, an easily-accessible Country album. She also brought in her former Lone Justice bandmates, for the purpose.

It's got a fair number of covers on it because she couldn't be bothered to write many new songs for it.

By the mid 1990s, in interviews, she was pretty much disowning it. However, it has always been very popular with the fans.
