Is this one of those musical algorithms that, I would say making the music, but I bet someone wrote some software to take any news article and Bobophile it.

This is a kind of Boomer swan song.
I think my Mum would love it.

It doesn't bear over-analysis, it's just Bob.
Sits indoors watching Turner Classic Movies a lot...

Play it for me and play it for Marilyn Monroe.
Sees his own mortality.
A legend, but dead and cold nonetheless...

I'm moved to tears.
In these times you musn't be all so cynical.

It is over.
It was OK. It had a nice vibe to it.
I feel I would need to listen to it again to know if it was actually any good or not,
Now to look back over the thread and see what everyone else made of it.

I thought that was great. It's in the vein of my favourite late Bob works like Po' Boy and Workingman's Blues #2 while also being a sort of political American Pie.
'Boomer swan song' is a wonderful description of it too.
I wonder if the line
was a double reference to Revolution 9 and to The Prisoner?

Yes, I'm still not over crying.
It's like a whole generation's collective sigh over their every love and every failure.
I have in truth found it desperately affecting.
It's tapped into, and untapped, a lot of grief.
My Grandpa's funeral was last Thursday and he was a shining star of the so-called but aptly named Golden Generation - devoid of affectation, stoic in duty and quietly heroic - and...
Yeah, yeah, whatever, I'll probably feel compelled to delete all this tomorrow in shame anyway.
