It's ultimately just an odd mixture of two Japanese girls who well at the Edinburgh fringe and then got roped into a recording contract by some over-enthusiastic English blokes.

It is over.
Apart from one track, that was very boring, a totally passionless affair that seemed to have no real sense of purpose.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

According to Wikipedia Steve Beresford and Toop or whatever his name is were members of The Flying Lizards,Looking at the writing credits, a couple of the early songs were written by "Solomon, Cunningham, General-Strike, Goldman" Were General-Strike were a group with those two and Cunningham.

Sorta, but that's more a little musical comedy, which didn't come through on the album, that's just how inept the production was.
