It is over.
Yes. That was much better than Tug of War. It has a jauntiness that the other album lacks and, overall, I prefer the songs.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

I shall give it 4 stars. I would say it's in the upper reaches of Macca's middle-ranking albums.

I'm not sure whether Macca's albums stand up to analyses anymore.
It's pointless to say that he's talented.
All over the shop.
Some nice bits, but some really silly, inane bits.
A mess ultimately.

It was supposed to be on the Tug of War album. As was everything else on this record.WhatDoesThisButtonDo? wrote:He's now going on about a Tug of War.

Like most Macca songs, when you hear it played on a piano, you realise just how beautifully crafted and unconventional it is.WhatDoesThisButtonDo? wrote:That first one had more production tricks chucked at it. Not sure there was much of a song. to be honest.

I need to sit down and listen to Tugs of War to compare and contrast. Not now as I'm tired and sleepy now. Be go bed.
