Speaking outside her home in Brunswick Park Road, in Wednesbury, West Midlands, the 77-year-old said: ‘I could not even get out my front door on Monday it was so bad. I had to go round the back.

Zarnichester has many good qualities but yes, its dump queuing times were sub-sub-standard. When I was clearing out my house I drove half the rubbish to Chelmsford and dumped it there, cos it was quicker.

Well that's not rubbish. He sounds like a stalwart who's covered everything from celebrities to local fetes for half a century. Probably one of those comforting types that several generations of people know by face, voice, name, and work. I find that send off by the West Midlands to him rather touching.

Further up the street and over the other side looks pretty normal. It's just her bit that's gone to rack and ruin. Lazy cow.

I posted it in here due to the "local news" bit rather than the "rubbish" bit. I remember him from when I was a child. On rival BBC Midlands Today the main host is Nick Owen of TV-am and..... other things fame.

I have a brilliant vision in my mind of everyone pilling those leaves up outside her door every night when she's asleep...it's what I would do.
Rather than the mundane explanation of it being in the lee of the wind.
Or could it be Aliens?
