I've cut myself ouch

Unfamiliar as I am by my new surroundings (and my new oven) I managed to cut my shin in the most spectaliar way by simply scratching it briefly on the corner of the open glass oven door.

It elicited from me in the moment nothing more than a "ooh, ouch!", but when I sat back down I realised I had an dramatic diagonal cut across my left shin.

Unfortunoids, I don't have my camera here so I can't post a picture of it, cause I know you'd all like to see it. yes

Earlier I was balancing a searingly hot baking tray of chips on top of a sizzingly hot huge glass casserole dish of baked fish, and I thought 'I hope I don't become the next addition to the NHOTW casualty list.'

But I was fine.

However, later I have to dismantle a strimmer that some lowlife dumped in my front garden, so I can put the bits in my bin bags without the dustmen suspecting anything. And I wouldn't be surprised if I cut myself on a saw or something. sad yes

I've haven't cut myself this week but does anyone else think that plasters are a massive swizz? All they do is make things moist, smelly and warm - the last thing you want around an open wound.
