Actually, it's a fair score.
The album doesn't maintain its momentum after "Sweet Bird of Truth".
If it'd've'd done then it'd've'd been top shelf.

It is over.
It started off Ok but, as it went along, it became less and less interesting to me, until, finally, it was just a load of drumming with some bloke improvising a tune over the top of it.
Now to look back at the the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

It is over.
That was a good album for 1986. But any other measure not good. Pretentious not has smart as they think they are lyrics, ghastly 80s production, and worst of all it sounded like INSX.

Now I remember why I only listened to this album twice; once when I taped Heartland off it for my 'best of each' tapes, and the second time when I WAV-ised the CD.
Apart from Heartland and Sweet Bird of Truth it isn't up to much.

I really like the first 5 songs, but after that the album really slopes away into spirited mediocrity.
