I remember that Jubilee.

1977.

I was incarcerated in Wales at the time.

My school (population: 17 children) gave us all a commemorative cup to celebrate the whole affair.

I think my Mum still has it stowed away at the back of a cupboard.

Last time I saw it, it had a dead spider in it.

Looked a bit like the Queen Mum it did.

Although its palps weren't fluorescent yellow.

Mine got its handle broken off when I was moving my stuff into storage last year. The enamelled handled silver teaspoon that comes with it though, appears unharmed.
