That's why I never buy crisps anymore. How I wish I could.

Well, not as often as I'd like to buy crisps anyway.

Polish cheese Cheetos taste quite different to Latin American ones. Much less flavour, but not as much staining requiring soap and hot water, so it all evens out in the end.

To reward not just good, but excellent behaviour over the last week, I asked for no oversight or approval of the app that delivers. All sorts of ice creams, peri peri fries, slices of exotic pizzas, sushi, chocolate waffles, and cans of San Pellegrino at an incredible mark up of £2.50 per can are arriving here in the next half hour or so.

Rider tip - £0.00. Quite right too, I'm not made of money.

I think I must have cabin fever, because as I placed a Choco Leibniz in my mouth just there, I could taste the wholesome air of a German dairy farm just before the crunch. That's why I only drive Mercedes - good quality products without fuss. I think I'll have another.

I've been eating a lot of Jacobs' high fibre cream crackers, because I bought about 20 packets when the flour ran out 3 months ago as a substitute for bread, and I have to keep turning the stock over.

I had some of those peri peri fries that were delivered here the other day. There must be an entire salt mine cleared of salt, wherever salt mines are found.

Choco Leibniz just £1.25 from the Coop. You probably all already know this, but if not it might be a token of appreciation for our brave retail staff - if you drop a product on the floor the staff can have it for free on the grounds that it's broken and therefore can't be sold. And they'll get you another one.

I only found this out after almost ending up in a tug of war with a shelf stacker over a box of meringues that I really did drop due to my habit of not using a basket. She let me in on the secret.

Well, you're very wise to keep turning the wheel. Turning the stock over was evidently what they were meant to be doing with all that PPE that ended up being years out of date.

Tonight, we await delivery of toast - bearing truffles and asparagus with yuzu soy. To be followed by chicken miso with carrot, daikon, and a yellow chilli salsa, with sides of broccoli haucatay.

Oh my.

I made a Piri Piri marinade for some chicken earlier and, along with yoghurt, lime, parsley, thyme, bay, paprika etc, used most of a Scotch Bonnet chilli in it.

That was fine - pretty fiery, pretty 'piquant'.

After a few glasses of wine however, on reckless impulse, I just ate the last third of above-mentioned Scotch Bonnet.

And, b*gger me.

For the first few seconds you could really tell how fruity and fragrant it was, but then...

I've just eaten two apples because they were starting to go a bit soft.

I overlapped my tea with the start of my evening drinks. It turns out that beer is the perfect accompaniment to crackers and Edam.
