I always liked him.

He had that universally likeable and charmingly crumpled look.

Everyone goes on about him in Tremors, but my favourite film with him in is in Miami Blues.

I think I thought he was older. Even when he was younger he seemed middle aged. If you saw a picture of him during his Minder days, you'd believe he was in his 50's. If you saw a picture of him in New Tricks, you'd believe only ten years rather than thirty had passed.

Also, isn't Rula Lenska about 90? She must've taken him in as a toyboy.
