It is over.
It was a better experience than I'd expected, as, despite the lack of variety, I found its melodrama appealing

Well, that was all a bit too tasteful.
And, dull.
Yes, really dull, in a melodically pleasant and atmospherically hackneyed way.
I didn't dislike any of it, but I also felt like I'm was never - for good or bad - being dragged into anything convincingly 'rugose and dead-eyed of rudiment'.
