Afro-Harping or Back-Row Parping?
Re: Dorothy Ashby - Afro-Harping (1968)
It's over.
One super groovy track at the very beginning, then just boringness - what a swizz!

I was going to give it ★★ but some of it was just torture. So I didn't.
And the title was pure cultural appropriation.

Like, when the mob assemble in Tel-Aviv and head to a cocktail lounge.
His characters always used to say things like, "Welcome to my chateau," and, "In my case, I have a million Francs," and, "My daughter is very wayward. I will give you a million pounds to tame her."
I knew who you meant.
I don't think I even know who he is.
I definitely don't recall any film I might have seen with him in.
Here he, is redubbing the bloke in OHMSS and being himself in Diamonds Are Forever.
He played loads of international bankers, lawyers and gangsters. If a film had diamonds or gold bars in it, he'd show up in it.

I think he's the one who says, "Flash Gordon approaching," in the legendary video (1:17). At least, his voice is. It's someone else's face altogether.

What do you mean Flash Gordon approaching?
Sorry, conditioned response.
