It probably all worked perfectly well in the context of the TV show but, heard in isolation, it was far too formulaic and soporific to hold the attention.

Perhaps it faded a little during the final 1/3, but I doubt that that was anything but intentional.

The soundtrack to a whole period of my life that.

Also, as an album, way better than I expected.

That was alright, bit err formulaic. But kinda ahead of the times for the Post Rock stuff. Which all sounds horrifically dated now, so I don't know how much an advantage having a 8 instead of a 9 in front of the year matters anymore blah blah

I only listened to this album for the first time in a while a few weeks ago. I bought the CD from a charity shop a while back. It's perhaps a bit too... ethereal and dreamy for me to regularly listen to but it makes for an interesting listen on occasion.
