Dreams was my perhaps 5th cassette single of 1993. I think I might have bought it the day it came out - it had been heavily played on Radio 1 in the weeks beforehand.

I believe the lead singer is Mary Kiani, who had something of a brief solo career later on in the 90s.

Mary Kiani had four top 40 hits between 1995 and 1997 - including a number 18 and a number 19! gasp

Her only top 40 miss was a song called With Or Without You. hmn

Before TTF, Kiani was a session musician and has toured with Donny Osmond and performed vocals on The Simpsons' Yellow Album. gasp

She was was sister of Hed Kiani, who designed and curated the early CD series carrying his name until the group was sold to The Ministry of Sound in 1998[3]. gasp
