Also there's a way to mike drums, but that depends on the sound being softened by the analogue recording, you have to change it when you recorded on the Digi, or else it sounds like someone's turned up the presence knob.
And cut the bass.
Cheer up.
It might never happen.
It's never going to happen.
lol, 80s.

I think this would have worked better as a Chakka Khan record, ft, Ry Cooder.

See, now - and hear this - see, I do love this kind of soulful, bluesy melancholy with all of the lush vocals harmonies.

It is over.
It was a very pedestrian album with no noticeable ambition.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

It is what it is isn't it.
Spectrum analyser peak-meters for goalposts, uh, eh?
I provided you pair of oafs with all the technical info and thus my motivation for creating this thread.
At bottom (yes, bottom) it was just like most of RC's albums, but with a glassy, inside your inner ear production sound that was almost searing in it's hyperreality.
This obviously marred the whole experience.
However, there were also a couple of Chaka Khan-driven sleazy funk numbers that were a welcome development.
