It's just such a generic R&B number that was dated 10 years before it came out.
Also there's a way to mike drums, but that depends on the sound being softened by the analogue recording, you have to change it when you recorded on the Digi, or else it sounds like someone's turned up the presence knob.
And cut the bass.
