Ooh, that reminds me to turn off the lamps I normally have on time switches to make it look like I'm in when I'm not. Cos for once I want to look like I'm not in while I am. Am hiding in the back bedroom.

Apparently, the reason the streets around me are awash with (literally) hundreds of kids in OTT costumes trick-or-treating on Hallowe'en is because of the number of large mansion blocks nearby housing all the US embassy staff and their families.

Usually, I stock up on sweets, in case I get any callers.
And then eat them all before Hallowe'en.
This year, I decided not to, as it's an illogical thing to do.
