I have moved 2 of my 6 Twitter accounts to Mastodon. It reminds me of Twitter in 2008 when I joined. People earnestly sharing pictures of Scottish beaches rather than accusing each other of being child molesters.

I had the same with Tumbler, sorry, Tumblr and My Space, the bit you'd expect to be links didn't do anything, and you could find the stuff you want it was more luck than skill and you couldn't remember how you did it.

Guess it doesn't really matter these days.
