The Witch Trials was recorded in England.
According to Biafra, "The Witch Trials is the most evil record I've ever been associated with".
That's England for you.

It is over.
It was noticeably indigestible.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Maybe it was the upload but it did sound a bit feeble.

★★ I liked the last one, but the lyrics were simply far too try hard, darling
And it sounded feeble. Even for 1981.

Re: The Witch Trials - The Witch Trials EP (1981)
I liked it.
It was good, but not really good.
I'm pretty sure that if the musicians had had more time together they'd've fleshed things out a bit more.
Also, it'd'd been good if they had a woman vocalist who actually did all singing and that to counterbalance Jello Biafra's nasal, spoken word heavy-handed polemics.
The latter of which were often interesting though.
I guess it was a case of 'ships in the night'.
These four people happened to be in London/the UK and jammed and riffed on themes for a day or two and then went upon their merry ways.
