It was his comeback single, from his second album, also called Seal like the first one. There was a bit of hype about this single at the time but it didn't exactly thrill the charts then got largely forgotten.

Kiss from a Rose was the next single, though that too only reached number 20 or something in 1994, before being re-released the following year and charting much higher, and in America too, due to its inclusion on the Batman film. I've always found Kiss from a Rose a bit overrated.

It did seem that no matter how hard Julia Fordham's record company pushed her and promoted her, with a handful of appearances on Top of the Pops and elsewhere, she never had any major success. To me it seems like they expected her to be huge, but she never quite took off. Her first single is fab though.
