The world becomes wonderful when a migraine dissipates. I'm pleased to know you're enjoying that sensation today.

Yes indeed. That's the one thing that keeps me going when I've got one, knowing how much better I'll feel when it's gone.

I haven't had one since last October though, touch wood.

I woke up at 3am with a migraine, my first for nearly a year*. The last time I p*ked it was bright yellow, which alarmed me till I remembered that I'd been drinking high-strength orange squash last night.

The trigger factors were familiar: a long drive, dehydration and a pizza slice from Morrisons bakery for tea.

I've just had a cracker and a cup of coffee, if they stay down I'll know that I've entered the wonderful dissipation phase as mentioned by CT above.

Although I refer in my March post above to having a migraine, I eventually classified that as a quasi-migraine because I wasn't sick.

I principally blame the pizza slice from the Morrisons' bakery.

Time to activate the lawyers I say. box

The first time, the pizza slice was from the Co-op hot cabinet.

Since that post above I have had a bread roll and feel more or less back to normal.

I'm so glad you've recently been able to enjoy that kind of unadulterated pleasure, complete with the heaven of post migraine hunger being satiated with the sustenance of your choosing. There are few experiences in this life to match that.

I'm in the recovery phase after another migraine. I deserved this one though, it was triggered off by drinking too much last night. If I hadn't got a migraine I would have had a nasty hangover anyway.

I've got a bad headache, but contrary to my fears, it hasn't turned into a migraine. Yet.

I've noticed if I do anything very stressful during the day, and have drinks in the evening to recover, I get an awful hangover, out of proportion to the amount I drank. Henceforth all stress recovery drinking will be postponed to the next day.

One consolation is that this an excuse to use the 15mg codeine co-cocodamols I acquired.

It didn't turn into a migraine. But it's been one of the nastiest ordinary headaches I've ever had. An 8-para hangover, very rare (that's 2 tablets every 4 hours of course, in strict accordance with guidance).

I nearly had a migraine this morning, but it luckily didn't develop.

I have a hangover. I got into a big argument on a McDonalds workers forum last night about whether the sausage patties have beef or pork in them.

It's Pork in the UK, Beef probably in Jewish/Muslim countries.

Maybe that's why I got downthumbed so much, they thought I was Jewish and/or Muslim.

Ironically the last thing I want right now is a hot greasy sausage Mcmuffin.
